Momentum Digital

The most recent addition to CAPA College’s Performing and Creative Arts Company, Momentum Digital is already proving to be a tour de force in youth theatre, film and media production.

Aimed at talented young people who wish to pursue a career in design, technical theatre, media and production, Momentum Digital works alongside leading performance venues and organisations to give its members unique opportunities to develop their skills in the industry.


Momentum Digital have been involved in a number of notable Creative Arts projects including Leeds Light Night and Aesthetica Short Film Festival as well as providing creative support to Northern Ballet and helping to tech professional shows for The Alhambra Bradford, Wakefield Theatre Royal, Cast Doncaster and many more.


Specialists in all aspects of production and creative media, Momentum Digital have designed lighting, sound, set, costume, AV, animation and video production for professional shows across the country.


Momentum Digital provide technical support for Redbrick Studio, CAPA College’s in-house record label, and have consulted on key events such as Artwalk, National Theatre Connections and U.Dance.


Former members have gone on to become leading creatives, designers and technicians, securing places at Royal Central School of Speech of Drama, Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance, as well as becoming celebrated photographers, videographers and music producers.

Digital Arts Festival

CAPA College and Momentum Digital presented the inaugural Digital Arts summer festival. The spectacular festival showcased the extraordinary talents of CAPA College students with a series of eight short films premiered nightly.

The varied programme offered everything from stunning vocals and impressive choreography to physical theatre and powerful spoken word.
